Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to customers.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine cycle counts.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and orders.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights.
- Communication: Basic English reading and speaking skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
