Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspecting: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and inspect for damage before entering inventory into the system.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse floor using RF scanners and pack them securely for shipping to ensure zero damage.
- Inventory Control: Assist in monthly cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records to ensure inventory levels are correct.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare pallets and organize storage areas to optimize workflow and retrieval speed.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris regularly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on concrete floors.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to learn RF scanning technology quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and order integrity.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse managers.
