Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move freight, packages, and materials to and from storage areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery as trained and certified.
- Inventory Accuracy: Scan items using handheld scanners to ensure precise inventory tracking and data entry.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to strict shipping guidelines.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by organizing stock in designated zones.
- Quality Control: Perform routine checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; strong attention to detail.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Attitude: Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
