Responsibilities
- Receiving & Unpacking: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and safely unload goods from delivery trucks.
- Inventory Organization: Sort, stock, and arrange products on shelves and racks according to company standards and safety guidelines.
- Stock Rotation: Perform regular stock rotation to ensure older inventory is sold before newer stock (FIFO).
- Shelf Maintenance: Keep the warehouse and sales floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctuality; consistent attendance is required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of accuracy in inventory management.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Experience: Previous experience in stocking, warehousing, or retail is preferred but not required.
