Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously while maintaining control and ensuring their comfort
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and hydration as per client instructions
- Monitor pets' behavior and health, documenting any concerns or observations
- Maintain strict cleanliness during walks and post-walk pet hygiene routines
- Communicate effectively with pet owners via text/photo updates and detailed reports
- Adhere to safety protocols for weather conditions, traffic, and animal handling
- Manage scheduling and route planning efficiently to maximize productivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle for multi-location visits
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional animal handling skills with ability to manage diverse temperaments
- Strong time management and punctuality with excellent organizational abilities
- Outstanding communication skills with professional client etiquette
