Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (up to 4 at a time)
- Provide basic care (water, waste cleanup, leash handling)
- Administer medications with proper training
- Maintain detailed client communication logs
- Report pet health or behavioral concerns promptly
- Adhere to all city leash laws and safety protocols
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments (as needed)
- Represent Urban Paws professionally with all clients
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to walk dogs in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation (public transit acceptable)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes/breeds
- Basic smartphone proficiency for scheduling apps
- Genuine passion for animal welfare
