Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups in designated Houston neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Administer basic care (fresh water, waste cleanup, leash management)
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication records
- Adapt walking routes based on weather and dog energy levels
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet safety and best practices
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for transport)
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to walk dogs in all Houston weather conditions
- Strong time management and punctuality skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes (up to 100 lbs)
