Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks while ensuring leash compliance
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks, reporting any concerns promptly
- Provide fresh water and administer basic care as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walk duration, pet behavior, and services rendered
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email updates
- Handle waste disposal responsibly using eco-friendly bags
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all pet interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to handle dogs weighing up to 100 lbs
