Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs in assigned Raleigh neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup during walks
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns promptly
- Administer basic medications as instructed by pet owners
- Maintain detailed walk logs and client communication
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments when needed
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all animals and clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation with pet-friendly vehicle
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to walk 3-5 dogs simultaneously with control
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Background check and pet CPR certification preferred
