Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling techniques
- Provide attentive care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed client reports on pet behavior and daily activities
- Ensure pets' safety during walks and at all times during service
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about service updates and concerns
- Adhere to strict schedules while accommodating client requests
- Clean and maintain equipment after each service
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk up to 4 miles daily
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Clean background check and pet first/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication and time management skills
