Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling techniques
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app during walks
- Administer basic pet care (feeding, medication, waste cleanup) as requested
- Maintain detailed activity logs and health observations for each pet
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming when needed
- Build rapport with clients through professional communication
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability for morning/evening shifts (5 AM - 9 PM)
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent physical fitness for extended walking in urban environments
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Must pass background check and pet handling assessment
- Knowledge of Baltimore neighborhoods and pet-friendly routes
