Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated New Orleans neighborhoods while following leash protocols
- Provide personalized care including feeding, hydration, and playtime
- Monitor pets' health and behavior, reporting any concerns to owners
- Maintain detailed digital logs of each pet's activities and needs
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via our mobile app
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and terrain across the city
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Strong physical fitness to handle active dogs in heat
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence
- Clean background check and pet first aid certification
