Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide fresh water and administer basic care (treats, medication as instructed)
- Maintain detailed logs of each walk (duration, behavior, incidents)
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app/text updates
- Adapt to weather conditions and ensure pets' comfort
- Attend monthly team meetings and training sessions
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and punctuality
- Physical ability to handle large dogs (up to 80 lbs)
- Smartphone proficiency for scheduling apps
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
