Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential and park settings while following leash protocols
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks, reporting any concerns
- Clean up waste responsibly and maintain clean equipment
- Administer basic care as needed (water, medication with authorization)
- Provide detailed walk reports to pet owners via our app
- Build rapport with clients and their pets consistently
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk up to 5 miles daily
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service excellence
- Must pass background check and drug screening
