Job Overview
As a Dog Walker at Urban Hound Services, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for ensuring the happiness and safety of our furry clients. You will work directly with pet parents to understand their specific needs and deliver exceptional care every single day.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily dog walks of varying lengths and intensities based on breed and energy levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all pets during walks.
- Administer medication and follow specific care instructions provided by pet parents.
- Monitor pet health and report any unusual behavior or physical issues immediately.
- Ensure pets are securely fastened in vehicles during transport.
- Collect and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Update client logs and photo updates via our mobile app.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dog walking, pet sitting, or a strong passion for animals.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- CPR and First Aid certification for pets is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk long distances in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
- Passion for animal welfare and safety.
