Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge and problem resolution
- Operate scanning equipment and handle returns/exchanges per company policy
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and assist with stocking merchandise
- Support store operations by performing inventory counts and price verification
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer flow during peak hours
- Adhere to all safety protocols and loss prevention procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or customer service role preferred
- Proven ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy
- Strong communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic math proficiency and familiarity with POS systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
