Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Manage cash handling, including cash drawer balancing and payment processing
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Support team members during peak hours and cross-train in other retail areas
- Adhere to all safety protocols and store operational standards
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn POS systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
