Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee, espresso, and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the café and back-of-house areas.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Upsell products and offer samples to enhance the customer experience.
- Clean equipment, utensils, and workstations to ensure strict food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Enthusiasm for coffee culture and a willingness to learn new brewing techniques.
