Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve premium coffee/espresso beverages using industry-leading equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warm, personalized interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of coffee stations, utensils, and customer areas
- Process payments accurately and efficiently through POS systems
- Collaborate with team to optimize daily operations during peak hours
- Rotate inventory and ensure freshness of coffee beans, syrups, and dairy
- Train new hires on brewing techniques and cafe standards
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience required
- Expert knowledge of espresso extraction and latte art fundamentals
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler/ServSafe certification preferred
- Local Bakersfield candidates strongly preferred
