Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and seasonal specials, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide personalized recommendations to ensure a top-tier customer experience.
- Operational Support: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, and equipment according to health and safety regulations.
- Point of Sale: Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions, handle cash, and manage gift cards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and supplies, and assist in restocking as needed.
- Training: Assist in training new hires on brewing techniques and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about brewing methods and flavor profiles.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
