Responsibilities
- Brew and serve a variety of high-quality espresso drinks, teas, and pastries to customers with a friendly demeanor.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a pristine environment, including regular cleaning of espresso machines, counter areas, and restrooms.
- Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
- Assist with food preparation and plating to ensure high presentation standards.
- Restock ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle cash transactions and balance the register at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the coffee industry or a strong passion for specialty coffee is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation and proven punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
