Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly with a smile.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of menu items and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, ensuring quality presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas throughout the shift.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with precision.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Upsell products effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, waitress, or host is preferred but not required for the right attitude.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a standing/walking environment.
