Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a welcoming and professional demeanor, ensuring high-quality first impressions.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests immediately.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage credit card tips responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas, including resetting tables for the next guest.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond to customer needs.
- Ability to stand and move around the restaurant for extended periods (typically 4-8 hours).
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
