Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, espresso beverages, and tea according to recipe standards
- Provide exceptional customer service through personalized recommendations and friendly interactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all coffee equipment, service areas, and dining spaces
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit card payments
- Support inventory management by stocking supplies and notifying managers of low stock levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies consistently
Qualifications
- Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred but not required
- Strong passion for coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory tracking
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability for flexible scheduling
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
