Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Denver neighborhoods while maintaining control and positive reinforcement
- Provide feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup services for client pets
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns to owners promptly
- Administer medications as per client instructions and veterinary guidelines
- Maintain detailed digital logs of pet activities and owner communications
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all pet interactions and transportation
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional service and reliability
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or pet care experience
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Availability to work flexible mornings/evenings/weekends
- Reliable transportation and smartphone for scheduling apps
- Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily in varying weather
- Excellent communication and time management skills
