Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise according to strict safety and quality standards.
- Organize and straighten shelves to maintain a clean, inviting, and safe shopping environment.
- Rotate stock to ensure product freshness and compliance with FIFO procedures.
- Assist in inventory management, including tagging and scanning new arrivals.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to ensure the store is fully operational by opening time.
- Handle damaged or returned goods appropriately and report inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts (e.g., 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
- Physical stamina required to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience in retail stocking, warehousing, or logistics is a plus but not required.
