Responsibilities
- Merchandising: Receive, unpack, and stock incoming inventory with speed and accuracy to maintain optimal product levels.
- Organization: Rotate stock to ensure freshness and compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management standards.
- Visual Standards: Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing sales floor by straightening shelves, facing products, and organizing displays.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and keeping work areas clear of hazards.
- Inventory Support: Assist in inventory counts and reporting damaged or missing stock to the management team immediately.
- Customer Assistance: Provide a friendly and helpful presence to early morning shoppers as needed.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail stocking, warehousing, or logistics is a plus but not required.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the workplace is mandatory.
