Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Deliver orders promptly, ensuring temperature and presentation standards are met.
- Check on guests regularly to address needs, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and tipping calculations.
- Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Square, Micros) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
