Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to every guest, ensuring a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, and serve orders promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized service station throughout your shift.
- Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently, ensuring all financial records are balanced.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; physical stamina required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid food handler's permit (where applicable).
