Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and cold brews, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a friendly and efficient checkout experience.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions and handle cash payments responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, including the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to health codes.
- Restock inventory regularly, including milk, syrups, pastries, and cleaning supplies, to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure orders are prepared promptly and served with a smile.
- Assist in food preparation tasks and adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and register operation.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to learn and a passion for coffee.
