Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process, from concept wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- Design and maintain a scalable, consistent design system that aligns with our brand identity.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and inform product iterations.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and user stories.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
- Present design concepts and rationale to the wider team, effectively telling the story behind your decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a tech startup or product-focused environment.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of projects, including mobile and web applications.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic prototyping is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
