Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning problems
- Develop error-corrected quantum computing architectures for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into classical high-performance computing environments
- Research and prototype quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech quantum research labs on joint projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction techniques
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and group theory
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum projects
