Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and algorithms using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and productionization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, and Design) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize existing models for speed, accuracy, and resource efficiency to ensure real-time performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and implement state-of-the-art techniques into our production stack.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence, with a proven track record of shipping complex models.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
- Modeling: Strong experience with NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning is highly desirable.
- Infrastructure: Familiarity with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
