Responsibilities
- Manage and catalog specialized collections (archival materials, digital resources)
- Lead patron training programs on research databases and digital tools
- Oversee interlibrary loan systems and resource acquisition workflows
- Develop and implement community outreach initiatives for underserved populations
- Supervise part-time staff and volunteer coordination
- Assist with budget management for collection development
- Maintain accurate statistical reporting for grant applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years progressive library experience with supervisory duties
- Advanced proficiency in integrated library systems (ILS) and metadata standards
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong digital literacy and technology troubleshooting skills
- Minnesota Library Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent interpersonal skills and community engagement experience
