Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for 2026+ vision, aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies, socio-economic shifts, and competitive threats
- Design and execute innovation frameworks for emerging markets and next-generation product ecosystems
- Present data-driven foresight reports to executive leadership and board members with actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future-focused strategies into execution
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry pioneers for trend forecasting
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation leadership within tech/consulting
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year future-focused strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex insights for diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and other transformative domains
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing C-suite decisions
