Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026 market readiness and competitive positioning
- Produce scenario-based forecasts and risk assessments for technological disruptions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities
- Present findings to executive leadership with data-driven recommendations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Futurology, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in emerging tech ecosystems (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and trend analysis platforms
