Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with quantitative ROI projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI/ML, quantum, biotech convergence)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, government labs, and global innovation hubs
- Deliver executive-level briefings on emerging tech disruption and competitive positioning
- Drive patent strategy and IP monetization for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc preferred) or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech investment scenarios
- Experience with global regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
