Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ technological convergence points across AI, space tech, and synthetic biology
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients navigating post-2025 disruption
- Design and facilitate immersive future scenario workshops with C-suite executives
- Author disruptive white papers published in Nature Futures and MIT Tech Review
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio incubating moonshot ventures
- Represent Nexus at Davos, TED, and World Economic Forum summits
- Mentor PhD fellows in our 'Futures Fellowship' program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 10+ years experience in tech innovation with portfolio of commercialized future-tech
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism journals or top-tier tech publications
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategy
- Fluency in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, quantum AI)
- Experience advising Fortune 100 C-suite on 5-10 year strategic pivots
- Speaker credentials at 3+ major global innovation conferences
