What You'll Accomplish: Pioneer new paradigms in sustainable technology, lead cross-functional innovation sprints, and publish industry-defining white papers. You'll have direct influence on our product development pipeline and corporate vision while mentoring a team of futurists and researchers.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026+ horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Collaborate with C-suite to translate future scenarios into corporate strategy
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Mentor a team of futurists and junior researchers
- Author thought leadership publications and industry reports
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology trend analysis and scenario planning
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
