Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026-2030 strategic innovation framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts affecting our industry
- Produce quarterly future-state reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks for early access to emerging innovations
- Design and implement prototyping labs for testing future-facing technologies and business models
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into commercial applications
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation strategy
