Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce strategic innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and policy teams to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Author quarterly futures intelligence reports for executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Establish global networks with futurist councils, academic institutions, and think tanks
- Design and implement ethical innovation protocols for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal futures literacy programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing multi-year innovation roadmaps with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional skills in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
