Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap focused on the opportunities and threats anticipated for the year 2026 and beyond.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging technologies (e.g., AGI, Edge Computing, Bio-tech convergence) to provide actionable insights to the C-Suite.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions or strategic partnerships with startups and research institutions pioneering the technologies of tomorrow.
- Innovation Labs: Lead the internal innovation lab, prototyping concepts and validating them with real-world business use cases.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex future-tech concepts into clear, compelling strategies for non-technical leadership and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, consulting, or a senior engineering role with a focus on R&D.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of successfully forecasting and navigating major technology shifts.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex strategic visions to diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and pivot strategies based on new data.
