Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise groups of 3-5 dogs in Jacksonville's scenic parks and neighborhoods
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed digital records of pet behavior, health, and client preferences
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming sessions
- Execute emergency protocols and provide first aid when necessary
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and photo updates
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in pet handling and safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Exceptional time management and reliability
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in Florida weather
