Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise multiple dogs in various Sacramento neighborhoods
- Provide personalized care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed daily logs of pet activities and behavior
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email updates
- Ensure all safety protocols and leash laws are strictly followed
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming when needed
- Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Local Sacramento residency preferred
