Responsibilities
- Lead 3D Development: Spearhead the creation of high-fidelity 3D web experiences using WebGL, Three.js, and GLSL shaders.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure high frame rates and smooth animations across all devices and browsers through rigorous profiling and optimization techniques.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner closely with art directors and product managers to translate creative concepts into scalable, performant code.
- Technical Architecture: Design and implement robust software architectures for complex interactive applications.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and interns, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- QA & Testing: Conduct thorough testing of creative code to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in creative coding, WebGL, or interactive graphics development.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern web frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- 3D Expertise: Strong command of Three.js, Babylon.js, or WebGL API. Experience with GLSL shaders and custom shaders is highly desired.
- Performance: Demonstrated ability to optimize heavy 3D scenes for mobile and low-end devices.
- Portfolio: A strong, online portfolio showcasing interactive 3D projects and technical case studies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
