Responsibilities
- Execute advanced espresso extraction techniques and pour-over brewing methods with precision
- Develop seasonal beverage menus featuring premium single-origin beans
- Lead customer interactions through personalized coffee consultations
- Mentor junior baristas in latte art and service excellence
- Manage inventory control and quality assurance protocols
- Collaborate with roasters on bean sourcing and profile development
- Host coffee tasting events for local patrons and businesses
Qualifications
- 3+ years of specialty coffee experience with advanced latte art certification
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles
- Proven leadership ability in high-volume café environments
- Exceptional customer service with high-end hospitality experience
- Ability to train and develop barista skills in others
- Strong inventory management and cost control skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler and ServSafe certifications preferred
