Responsibilities
- Execute specialty coffee preparation using advanced techniques (siphon, pour-over, cold brew)
- Train junior staff on brewing methods, equipment maintenance, and customer engagement
- Develop seasonal menus featuring local ingredients and signature creations
- Manage inventory control and quality assurance protocols
- Host private coffee tastings and educational workshops for high-profile clients
- Collaborate with culinary team to create coffee-pairing experiences
- Maintain immaculate workspace and equipment hygiene standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with portfolio of latte art/competition entries
- SCAA/SCA certification or equivalent coffee expertise
- Proven ability to train and mentor barista teams
- Exceptional knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles
- Experience with high-volume, luxury hospitality service standards
- Strong problem-solving skills during peak service periods
- Valid Florida food handler permit
- Spanish fluency required (Miami's primary service language)
