Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations
- Manage inventory and maintain pristine café cleanliness
- Train new team members on brewing techniques
- Contribute to seasonal menu development and promotions
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions
- Participate in community events and coffee education workshops
Qualifications
- 2+ years professional barista experience
- Advanced knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling
- Passion for specialty coffee and sustainability
- Experience with POS systems (Square preferred)
