Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design and implement robust machine learning pipelines and scalable infrastructure using Python, PyTorch, and cloud-native technologies.
- Model Optimization: Continuously improve model accuracy, reduce latency, and optimize inference costs for production environments.
- Strategic Roadmap: Lead technical discussions regarding our 2026 product vision, identifying AI opportunities to drive competitive advantage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Mentorship: Foster a culture of technical excellence by mentoring junior staff and conducting code reviews.
- Research: Stay at the forefront of AI research, evaluating new techniques like Generative AI and Large Language Models for integration.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or data science.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, SQL, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- System Design: Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and MLOps best practices.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver high-quality code under tight deadlines.
