Apex Digital Systems is looking for a visionary Senior 2D Web Interaction Engineer to join our elite engineering team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be the architect behind our next-generation data visualization tools and interactive web platforms.

Responsibilities
- Architect High-Performance Rendering: Design and implement complex 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL to ensure buttery-smooth 60fps animations.
- Interactive Visualization: Build intuitive, data-rich interactive visualizations that translate complex datasets into understandable, actionable insights for users.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks in the rendering pipeline, ensuring our tools load instantly and run efficiently across all devices.
- Collaborative Design: Partner closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive 2D interfaces.
- Code Quality & Standards: Maintain high standards of code quality, write clean, scalable code, and contribute to the technical documentation of our frontend architecture.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a specific focus on 2D interactive graphics and animations.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and the native Web API. Experience with WebGL or Three.js is a major plus.
- Framework Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Performance: Demonstrated ability to optimize rendering performance for large-scale datasets and complex animations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
